What do you think?

Tuesday morning woke up to find wheely bins taken from garden and dumped at top of street! first I thought b*****d kids then I found Iron bar at the back of my shed where I keep bike. still I thought kids trying to be funny. that was until I whent into the garden tuesday evening and my security light did not come on. Checked it to find the sensor had been pushed up so it would not come on if anyone comes into the garden.

I am beggining to think that some thieving f***wits are planning to take my sv. What do you think?

Two thoughts:

1) Buy a big, bad tempered dog, and don't feed it too much, you want it to stay sharp.
If and when it tears the legs off some thieving chav filth who's trying to nick your bike, finish the scum off with the iron bar and bury them in the garden, no loss to anyone and a positive benefit to your soil as the piece of s**t will be fertilising pretty flowers for a while to come, which will be way more use than it ever will have been in (pond) life.

2) Make sure it's locked good, get a ground anchor, and put a bell on a cord from the cover, (yes really), and arrange a second sensor out of reach.

Option 2 does have some merit of course, but on balance I prefer option 1, not only will it be quite satisfying, but it can reasonably be considered a public service too, everyone's a winner.

Kevbuck - Get a shed alarm asap!!! I'm sure you can get these things from B&Q locate it in the top corner of the shed when it goes off they will **** there pants, they are VERY loud! They are activated via a key fob, dont take any chances with your pride and joy.

Remember that wheelie bins are very good for assisting scum to climb over fences - I chain mine up
I also have 'spikey' plastic things along the top of the fences

Make it hard for them, and they'll go elsewhere, but just in case, follow Sid's advice
