Bike bay question

I parked today in (for those that know the City) the solo bike bay in Pudding Lane.

The marking on the bay was 'MPD 1 Solo Motorcycles Only'.

Anyone know what the MPD1 means?

What we really need is "Proper Motorcycles Only" parking bays :twisted:

what is a bike bay?

Around here you can only park between cars and watch them reverse back to pull out, straight into your bike. so park on pavement

Oh I dunno, proper bikes are harder to lift out of the way! :lol:
