Internal gear ratios - '03-'05 naked vs. S

Is there a source of info that can tell me whether there has been a difference in internal gear ratios for any of the "new" model SV650? In particular, naked versus "S", '03 versus '04, and NL (that's where I am) versus other EU markets.

I understand that the N has a 45 tooth rear sprocket while the S has a 44, but I have not heard of any other differences. And indeed, a press info website for '03 http://www.media.suzuki.com/svlaunch/specs.htm did not show any difference in internal ratios between the N and the S (USA spec).

The reason I ask is that I recently installed a '03 naked motor to replace the blown up '04 S of my race bike and was surprised at the dyno run comparison results -- all of the gear changes took place at different speeds! Yet the final drive - speed at redline in top gear - is the same.

Thanks for any input,
David

I'd be very surprised if there were any internal gearing or primary drive changes between the various models, and I'd be amazed if there were any between different country specific models, I'm sure there isn't.

I suspect as much, too. I think I need to go back to the dyno bench and figure this out.

Too bad the "old" engine is blown to smithereens - I could do some more comparison. Sadly, the only remaining evidence of that one ever having had a life is a computer file of some dyno runs.

RIP your old motor,
