Another one bites the dirt!!!!
Be very careful out there I just went to pull away behind S.V/Rider this afternoon an for some unexplainable reason the rear spun up and the bike shot from under me Possibly road grease on the tyre sidewall, because the road surface looked perfectly dry
Bent radiator, broken f/brake lever, scored h/brake lever, scored bar-end, scraped fairing, smashed indicator and a ding in my shiney wolf exhaust Luckily the only thing I hurt was my pride Looks like the trade in for the SprintS.T.may have to go on hold       |
Sorry to read about this. Glad you are OK and it was a relatively "soft" accident

 Just read this Mac... Sorry to hear you've dropped your bike  'least you're alright though
This is the reason mine is 'tucked up' 'til spring  |
this forum is great for making me paranoid although I know paranoia can be a good thing in this case! the Sv does make me feel confident in its grip and traction but I can see how being in the wrong place at the wrong time can soon take that traction away!
Ive only had the SV a week but I am listening! |
As per
Cloggsy Yeh , yours is "tucked up" mines was very nearly "f------ up"
No problems WE HAVE THE TECHNOLIGY????? " |

by the way did you mean attraction or traction for your SV  |
Mac, sorry to hear of your off. :(
I almost did the same yesterday when pulling out of my road, cold tyres, maybe with some cleaning product inadvertantly sprayed onto the sidewall of my rear tyre, just leant slightly to turn right and the rear slid away from me. Fortunately a slight tap with my foot on the floor straightened me up, but left me a little nervous with cornering for a short while. If you need anyhelp, let me know. |
