Braided Lines

Braided hoses,

Now is a braided hose a braided hose??

Should i spend 60 quid on a 3 line kit from hel, or
27 quid on a 3 line kit from mps??

both made from stainless,. both err, braided lines??

any thoughts?

I suppose the different grades of stainless are different prices you also pay for quality & how much it costs to be made. As every thing seems to be knocked out in China these day its not suprising things are getting cheaper. As for your dilema as to whether you should save £33 to buy some other goodies for your bike is up to you I know which way I would go (woohoo 6 months road tax sorted).

I'd go with the HEL lines, personally, purely because it's a name I already know and has been recommended more than a few times.
If you look through the for sale section, I seem to remember somebody offering a decent discount on HEL lines.

There probably some warranty with them. Hell after all they are only plastic hose covered with braided stainless to stop the hose distorting to prevent the pressure being used on the hose not the brake pistons. Its hardly rocket science.

Yes but the M&P lines are Goodridge which are pretty good anywa. They are also running a 20% discount on hoses at the moment which makes them a good buy.

I have fitted Galfer hoses to the VFR and they seem pretty good.

nah, these M&P lines are there economy range,
29.99 per 3 line set! seem ok,

but @ 50% cheaper very tempted to give em a try!

I got the 3 line HEL hoses off ebay. £63.00 inc p+p. they were easy to fit they have the Hel warranty. The front were a bugger to bleed but once sorted they look great ( I got blue fittings), work find and you get a lot more feel.
