Undertray

OK, another question, I have a crappy undertray fitted (looking out for a decent one) and it's fine, unless I'm close up & under the tail.
The main worry I have is that the CDI is bouncing around as it's lost it's fixing points. Any neat solutions? I tried sticking it down but that wasn't up to much. :?:

Cheers, again!

parcel tape ? temporarily anyway....

Yeah I suppose I should stop it bouncing about until I get around to a more permanent solution.

If you havent cut too much of the old rear mudgaurd off you casn use it as a fixing point for the ECU just drill through and use a couple of countersunk machine screws- its what i did with mine, same trick for the alarm as well. Failing that how about velcro!!!!!!!!!!!!

try bonding in a length of velcro tape with fibreglass resin to the undertray.

Tends to work on the plastic stuff as well.

Cheers Mark.

I like the velcro idea.

I got a genuine Suzuki undertray off ebay, includes new battery tray, only £50-. All fittings and OE parts fit.

I cut very little off but I still want to keep the box in the space behind the seat catch.
I seem to remember people talking about losing space when they fitted undertrays but if anything I'd say I've gained some!

Sounds like a plan to me. Cheers!
