Don't you just love it when..........
you get on the bike for the morning commute, it's pi$$ing down and still dark and then...............................
you meet total (for Swindon) traffic jams ALL the way into work ;-) THREE miles of filtering AND at least four cases of frustrated cagers sounding their horns off at you... GOD I LOVE MY BIKE!!!!!!!!! :-) |
They hooted at you for filtering?
Or was it the insane laughter they objected to? :) |
Could have been both, I had to put my flip up to dry the tears of laughter ;-)
|
Got to love it!!!
Though this morning coming in to Reading I did the usual filter passed the massed ranks and in amongst it was bike! In the queue!!! Now, each to their own but I do think if you are going to sit in the queue it is best done in a car with a heater and a stereo!!! Strange... |

He he, I did filtering for the first time on the way into Swindon. Riding from the riding school to my test, there were miles of jams down the road that connects Cirencester/Swindon to the M4. We were going to be late for the test, so the instructor who was escourting us there said, "ok lads, last lesson- filtering..." and showed us how to do it. Really glad I got some free tuition on it before passing :)

I see bikes waiting in jams quite often. I dont see the point. Probably lack of confidence etc...
|
always the high point of my morning, coming through Dulwhich village in south London, filtering past the four wheel drive school run.....mad mothers all over the place......trying to drop the monsters off and get to their coffee mornings. they HATE being past....

What ****es me off is that they keep mentioning their exemplary safety record. All well & good, if you're in it!
What about everyone else involved in any accident with you in your tank?! They don't stand a chance! |
