Airblade Screen
 

Hi Guys, has anybody fitted the airblade screen for the K3 sv. I have just fitted my screen and there seems to be a gap underneath the top of screen at the sides where in meets the fairing is this normal or have i done some thing wrong??

That's normal on a few other aftermarket screens, so wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised.

got airblade one on k1, not a perfect fit but by no means the worst ive seen

I was going to ask about DB screens, and have been looking at the airblade, nice screens :thumbsup:

But I wanted to ask if you can get them for the K4 or any other makes for the K4?

Anyone fitted one to a K4 - what make was it?

The K3 screens should all fit a K4 (I hope)
I think mine is Powerbronze, bought from the lovely Debs.

not a problem Mass I got mine off ebay for £29 + P&P.
It looks a good screen its just im very fussy when it comes to my pride & joy. The fit is by no means bad but I have only seen it complete in the dark so I will reserve my judgement till the morning :?

Just PM'd Carsick to ask him a few questions, you said 29 quid..that's a good price, do you have the link?

As Carsick reckons the K3 will fit the K4. If so, I wouldn't mind having a look at the airblade for that price :wink:

So you'll have to explain to me the difference between the Irridium and a Double Bubble, as I guess I'm after a double bubble as it's better for commuting, or is the irridium or airbalde just teh same?

I have spoken to the bloke on the link you sent, he said they do the irridium for the K3 which will fit the K4 but it's not a DB screen??

Is the irridium just the effect or does it take away the "Wind Factor" on the screen?

Iridium is the finish on the screen, double bubble is the shape and airblade is the manufacturer.
An iridium screen which isn't double bubble will be the same as a standard screen for deflecting wind.
I'm sure there are companies that do it with both, if that's what you're after.
