Walk in to hein Gericke to get chain lube....

Walk out with a Remus Can :D

Well.. the receipt for one anyway.. bit the bullet.. I was advised that a Remus would be much better than a Micron.. as I dont have to fiddle with it afterwards.. just shove the thing on.... So I ordered one.. as they are now down in price... low £200's

So in a few days.. my neighbours shall be awoken by an almighty growl!

Not had to fiddle with my Micron.

Most people reckon it'll sound better than the Micron... Don't know what they mean by fidling about, it'll need repacked from time to time just like a Micron surely?

No offence Mystery Jimbo, but Microns are frightfully common :) They're a standard accessory on every GSXR being ridden by someone in jeans, t-shirt and £40 lid

Remus exhausts come it two flavours(a part from the legal & Race types) traditional vented internal tube (needs to be re-packed) and baffle plates (no need to ever repack).

Cheers Mark.,

The Revolution's a pipe-and-packing style can though isn't it? I'm kind of assuming that's what's been bought here.

that kind off thing happens to me all the time, walked into a music shop between xmas and new year for a couple of sets of strings and some plectrums, ended up with a new Gibson SG, and still forgot the strings.......... :?

northwind 09-02-05 04:06 PM

And then when you went back in to get the strings, you bought a new amp :)

Nice one not good news for your neighbours though.

valleyboy 09-02-05 07:22 PM

forgotten the name of the can now! do'h! but its oval.. and it has baffles in it.. so I may remove them if my neighbours want to wage a war

and its not a titanium can.. and no bloody carbon either!

valleyboy 09-02-05 07:23 PM

fiddling about as in having it shoved on a dyno etc.... was told I can just shove the Remus on.. and its good to go...
