Star of the show ???
Did anyone else notice this at Ally Pally ??
Is the TL back ??? http://www.urbanbiker.co.uk/forum_pi.../SV1000R-1.jpg http://www.urbanbiker.co.uk/forum_pi.../SV1000R-2.jpg http://www.urbanbiker.co.uk/forum_pi.../SV1000R-3.jpg Very, very tasty me thinks..... . |
I don't think so Steve, a paintjob like that has been available as a factory option on the new shape SV since it came out in 2003. I think what you've got there is just the 2005 rendition.

I saw that in a mag or somewhere. With a cowl and the back tidied up I think that will be very smart. Would get the SV1000 sales up a bit I imagine.

Well, it looks ok, I just don't think it's particular fantastic, but then, I've never been into the gsxr type look. All black with a few dark silver bits, that's the way. |

Suzuki.com says: New black-painted frame, swingarm, and wheels for more sport appearance Increased engine performance with higher 11.6:1 compression ratio, 20% less crank inertia, larger 54mm throttle bodies, shorter airbox inlet tube, revised cam timing and two air pressure sensors per cylinder for more precise fuel injection volume control |
I first saw one a few weeks after getting my SV, at it's first service. There was a thou will a similar paintjob being collected from Sturdey's in Tonbridge. I believe it was an £800 option.
I've also seen it on a 650 in the show-room at P&H in Crawley. |
