TPF&F on new SV???

I have just checked and the SV that i wanted to buy has been sold today
but now i am considering buying a new one, but the cheapest insurance quote i can get for tpf&f is £2297 with Devit, i have tryed about 15 others and alot wont even give me a quote for tpo, im not supprised realy, im 18 (19 this year), live in a city (leeds) have 2 yrs ncb, but did write my car off in september last year (£6000 claim)

Is it worth me buying a new pre registered SK4 and only getting tpf&f, or should i pay the silly money and try find fully comp?

bear in mind for a 2001 SVS valued at £2700 and only doing 4000miles per year, without carrying passengers is £1844 tpf&f

For the stupid amount of money they want from you, it's almost worth getting a cheaper to insure bike for another year or two, but then, you gotta do what you gotta do.

give express a ring on 08453303351
I'm with them this year.
They're not necessarily the cheapest for everybody, but they worked out ok for me.
Admittedly, I'm not quite as young as you and I don't have quite as major a claim against my record, but I do have a prior conviction.

I got brand new sv FC for £900 with class 1 business use and unlimited mileage as well as almost no security, but I don't live in a city.
Other people have recommended Motorcycle direct, though they couldn't give me a very competitive quote at the time.

It's times like these I'm glad I've been biking for as long as I have.

When TPF&T on a GPz500, no NCB, and just passed my test was £80.

try Rampdale, not the best, but willing to try their best.

Just be honest with them.

that sort of money quoted seems a tad on the silly side :?

cheers, i was going to be buying an older SV, 1999 model as said in another thread, I am after an immaculate bike with v.low milage for under £3000, if i am going to spend over £3000 id rather go the whole hog and buy a new one (K4) for £3999

il still be keeping an eye out for the perfect bogstandard, immaculate SVS

i wont be using the bike for work..just sunny/dry sunday rides

i did not think about the insurance getting dearer if i do put in a claim, TPF&F it is then.
So il possibly have a new SVS v.soon

although i do preffer the look of the curvey SV, but thats just my opinion
