You could have given me your seat hump bracket & side filler pieces before you got rid of her

Nice Falco though

How do you find it compared to the SV?

I'm currently looking for a Falco (or Tuono if I can find a cheap one  )

Lovely bike. Bet it's a tad on the noisy side with those Akros on

How is it to ride?

I'd been warned that the riding position on the Falco is a bit awkward, but on the 80 mile ride back home I found it not too dissimilar from the SV. The difference in power is.....scary! A snatch of the throttle in the first 2 gears will have the front wheel reaching for the sky  The gearing is very tall, I was cruising on the motorway at about 85mph at 5500rpm and after 20 miles realised I still had another gear. Acceleration is awesome, some fool in an X5 fancied a go, twist of the throttle and he was long gone from my mirrors. Those mirrors are actually quite small but do offer a good rear view, much better than the SV where I tend to find my own elbows is the only thing I can see. It was a bit too cold to try out the handling, so I'll wait for warmer months before really pushing it. The sound from those Akrapovic cans is awesome, a bit loud, but awesome! Underseat storage is very good, much better than the SV and my wife says the pillion grab rails are better too. My mate reckons the bike looks butt ugly, but he rides a Harley so what does he know about good looks!
I think you can tell I'm happy! :D

This Harley owner things that it looks great, and is really tempted to get one. There's a few low mileage ones going for about £4500 which is a lot of bike for the money.

Always liked these, but then I like nearly all Aprillias. Looking good.
