What's that I can feel?

Hi All,

Sorry for being quiet recently - lots on...

Anyway, went out on the Blue one last night to footy training (clocking up the mileage  ). When I got to the top of our road, and felt a sudden bump in my back.
So I slowed down to about 10mph, and felt behind with one hand, and suddenly grabbed a handful of "Security Chain"

You can imagine the profanities that came out

So I stopped and as I let go of the chain it drops to the floor, out of the bag on the pillion seat.

What a silly sod - I had forgotten to zip the bag back up after taking the security chain off

Won't be doing that again...what a nob ed!!!

Let this be a lesson folks - more haste less speed Mr Mass.
Some would appose this line of thinking though. :?

Lucky it didnt fall in the moving parts
And lucky you didnt loose it, what with the cost of them
Bout time bike manufacturers came up with some integral compartment or even better retracting high tensile cable.

we were behind a zr6 on a motorway once, in my mates tuned up nissan sylvia.

i was just lecturing about why he shouldnt tailgate (he was right behind the ninja)

he was spouting his usual b****cks about his brakes being on top form, he was an excellent driver and his reactions were super sharp ect ect

when just as he shut his mouth - the security chain comes flying out of the ninjas backpack (it wasnt done up) hurtling towards him,
it goes under the car and rips his new shiny exhaust off . . .

justice served

Mass, next time I am down, you can have a go on my bike and see what you think of the linked brakes.

I find that they are excellent at stopping you when used together, it's like chucking an anchor out back!

So I guess your starting small and trying out the chain first.

You really are frightening
