Help

Been tinkering, was gonna put on new heel plates but have just rounded off one of the bolts tryin to get it out, what do i do? :help:

Try a pair of adjustable grips on the edges of the bolt, if that dont work, you will need to hacksaw/Dremel a slot into the head of the bolt then use a flat blade screwdriver. Happens to the best of us, and dont blame yourself, its suzuki metal for ya.

Did i mention it was an allan key bolt so nothing to grip onto, i'll have to go for the hacksaw approach.

THANKS

if you use a set of mole grips on the outside you can often still turn them.
That's if you can get at the outside, of course.

I know what i'm gonna have to spend the evening doing, still it's a learning curve. But nobody let me near any thing thats crucial.

I think I will write to Suzuki and ask them to use bolts with holes drilled through the centre of them as standard (except sump plug). That way you will be saving weight and you will be able to use a stud extractor without the need to drill first.

Will i have to go to a Suzuki garage to get a new one or should i be able to pick one up any where?
