radiator lower mounting bolt - slightly loose?

Hello,

I figure short of driving over to the dealers and wiggling a few radiators, I would ask you folks first... :)

I just swapped in new spark plugs for my SK3. From the service manual I followed the instructions and it was going without a problem.

Upon tightening the radiator's lower mounting bolt, I noticed that the rad was still loose on that channel slot that the bolt goes through on the way [EDIT*- duh, not the frame but rather] to the front of the forward cylinder.

Should the radiator still be slightly loose when that bolt is appropriately secured? Is there some designed-in looseness, perhaps to help with weird lengths for rad hoses, or help alleviate vibration to the rad...?

Thanks!

(for the sake of posterity)

While at the dealers today to get a change of oil and new air filter...

Grabbed the side of a K5 rad... shook it, and it was pretty snug. Not loose, but not impossible to move back an forth slightly on that rubber grommet/washer.

Yep it is. I managed to sheer mine off, while i was trying to tighten it properly after removing the rad. That was fun.
