can you get your knee down poll (Again)
well, can you ?
its not big and its not clever - but we still try. i cant. i can get my pegs down - but havent the courage to push it any more. being a shortie dont really help either 5'5, as i see riders not leaning as far as me - going slower than me draggin their knee. |
Once but that was after i'd left the bike :?
Never done it properly, but then again, never really tried |
ONCE ON THE ROAD ON MY 400 BROS BUT USUALLY ON TRACK,
sorry for caps |
to be honest i've never tried. only been riding 6 months so me shifting my **** off the seat on a bend wouldn't be something i'd try.
yet. it may be a different story on 26th july however. 8) |
Yup, when the conditions are right.
Got a new set of leathers and sliders before xmas just itching to get them down now. |
CAN'T
But then again I haven't properly tried. I haven't got any knee sliders. Probably couldn't anyway, but then I don't think there is any need on the road (everyone who can't do it says that don't they?) |

Oh yes, & my pegs 2! But i dont do it much on the road. Honest!

Wish i could.
the lack of leather trousers and knee sliders kinda hampers any real attempts at trying although i'm confident enough to hang of the bike etc. The rear tyre being mismatched to the front one also dont inspire confidence at the moment, but both these issues will be sorted out soon enough and i hope to be able to join this "for the hell of it" club before the end of this year. The roundabouts that gricey showed me at the weekend are a lot better than the ones i practice on at the moment too...so there is hope for me yet. |
Leather trousers wold help, & good luck to u! Tis alot of fun  in the right conditions. jus watch out for the coppers!
