Hello! Just joined... though I own a Suzuki that's not an SV. (Is that allowed? Please don't unload a torrent of abuse on me!)

I'm trying to track down a couple of nice blokes I met on a Bikesafe day at the Ace Cafe on 27th Feb. They told me about the Soho massive - as I work just up the road - and to log on here to find them. It's taken me a couple of months to find this website... and I'm sure one of them was called Tinman, but maybe I was doing my impression of a deaf old biddy.

If anyone could shed any light then please do let me know. Would love to meet up / do a rideout, if you're open to non-SV bikers?

you may be thinking of Tincan? I think he's changed his name to Will now on the forum, or I might be completely wrong.

A rideout is being schemed for some time in May in the Selkent section, shouldn't be too far from you, and you'll be more than welcome!

As Helen says, Tincan, aka Will is probably your man (though I do believe he's married :wink: ). I'm sure he attended a bikesafe at that time... as did Mr Toad?

Either way, just because you don't have an SV doesn't mean you're not allowed down to the massive on Friday. We let lots people attend who don't have SV's... such as the Gixxer croud, Jo with his unique 5-speed Thundercat, Jambo with his cheap-rate Bandit, and Lyn with her collection of motorcycles - Jackpot, and CBR cartoon bike.

I'm sure you'd be very welcome! :D

It was indeed Will & myself that chatted to you, on what I remember was an extremely cold day. Will used to be TinCan, but then had a identity crisis & changed his name :lol:
