Bottom Yoke Corrosion

Within a few months of purchasing my SV650S K3 in 2003 I noticed that the bottom yoke had rust stains on it,would this be covered by any sort of warranty?also the Exhuast seems abit rusty on the front and where the 2 pipes join,
Any Ideas?
Bike has only done 3000 mls

i have a k3 and the underneath of the bottom yoke is rusting there too. I have tryed scrubbing it off, but had no joy.
Now i just keep it clean and covered in chain lube

but as said above, can a new one be fitted under the warantee???

Unfortunately this is perfectly normal and almost predictable for the SV. Being as it's so new you could try and get it changed under warranty. I know a few on this forum have managed it.

There only real cure for this is to get it lacquered. One of the disadvantages of buying a budget bike.

mine also suffered within a few months, and when it was a few months old it was kept in a garage. Now its somewhat older and there's no garage , but the rusting on the yoke hasn't got all that much worse.
