Oxford Hotgrips

Hi everyone. I've just fitted some Oxford Hotgrips to my SV and love them. Just what I wanted. Don't like the monster of a control box though. Anyway, what I wanna know is, what sort of life can I expect out of these things? I can imagine that they'll be getting used most of the time I'm on the bike from now on.

The control box is pretty awful, isn't it? Apparently you can replace the whole thing just with an on/off switch but of course you lose the adjustability. Not sure how long they'll last but mine have done one winter no problem, they seem very well made so I expect a good life.

I've got them fitted on mine and soon to be on the wifes bike as well(she's always cold even when the suns out & keeping the pinkies warm makes a hell of a difference) and am really pleased with them, they should last a long time IMHO

Yep that control box thing is awful. I have seen another unknown brand on the market there in NZ that has a nice small box. I thought that I'd go with some that were established on the market. Anyways...I'm really pleased with the grips and should've fitted them ages ago.
