Installing a new shock with height adjusters

Ok Im trying to install a GSXR1000 (K2) shock on my K2 SV, the shock goes on nicely with the original dog bones but when I put my new dog bones which are a little shorter then the shock doesn't line up correctly. Does anyone know of a solution other than use a different shock?

...surely just a case of where you've positioned the swingarm?

With the dogbones detached, the swingarm is free to move... and assuming you're lowing the bike, you may need to raise the swingarm a noticeable amount higher than you did before.

No sadly it looks like with the new dogbones the shocks touching the swingarm ... would be fine if it had normal dogbones on though .:(

I read the gsxr1000 works but it looks like thats with original dogbones only :(

Well gave up on the new shock as it just wasn't working with the new dogbones. But the new dogbones are in and the rear is just over two inches higher now and it feels great.

So if anyone wants it theres a GSXR 1000 shock for sale :D
