Its stickier than the stock seat, but not quite as sticky as the triboseat pillion seat cover i used to have.
Bad points are - its one piece so makes it very difficult to get to the space under the rear seat. You have to remove the whole thing. To do this you need the allen keys from the tool bag which is... oh, under the rear seat :?
Basically means you have to carry a couple of allen keys in you pocket or mount them on the bike elsewhere.

I need lower pegs and a less focused riding position as the GSXR is really doing my back in. I also want someting that I get the wife on, she's not too happy on the back of the Gixer
Yesterday I took out a Honda Blackbird, fantastic bike and the wife found it comfortable. My other 2 options (apart from a VFR) are either the new Sprint ST which I'm looking to try next week, or an SV1000S, and with the money I save, I can add a few bits & pieces to turn into more of a sports tourer, hence the idea of the seat.
Couple of questions for you: - Does your pillion find more comfortable that the stock unit (who wouldn't) ?
Is it compariable to the gel seat for rider comfort ?
Does it make any difference to the leg reach (is it wider than the stock unit) ?
I know you got yours 2nd hand, but do you think it's worth the money for a new one ?
Is it the "Comfort" or the "Seatster" ?
Thanks for your help so far....
