I wish I'd read this thread 8 hours ago - I would have save myself the best part of 100 quid.

Hello by the way, my first post here. Just ordered a new black 650 (not the S on account of my big belly, my bad back and my arthritic knees) I like the sit-up-and-beg position and can't wait to get hold of it! Cost me all of a pound!

My first new bike in over 20 years. Dead excited!

Thanks! I'm not too sorry to be riding without the fairing - I never did mind fighting hurricane force winds trying to rip my head off.

Part of the fun of biking! (Bet I enjoy it more  )

Woah, woah, woah people.

I'm 22, with NO NCB, I live in Southampton, will have a 2000 curvy SV650 [tomorrow!!!!! :D :D :D ]. I've only had my full license for 1.5 years. What have you done to warrant that quote??!

I've got insurance for £281.78 from the nice people at insurance2000.com.

Even better still for those [dare I say it..] 'student' types among us, I got a monthly pay and go quote of £28 pounds from ebike insurance.

I do have yet to tell them about the full Yoshi system tho... [I'm going to I promise, it's just that I'm picking it up tomorrow and had to get it done on the Net tonight!! :? ]

Good luck with those quotes...
