Aftermarket brake pads..
Can anyone reccomend the best replacement pads to fit to the sv? Mine's done 10k (K3 model) and is probably ready for some new ones, but i have no idea whaty to fit. Will be putting some braided hoses on in the next few months if this will make a difference.

I asked the same thing not long ago, several people said the EBC HH sintered pads, others said Carbone Lorraines.

I have tried both EBC and Carbonne Lorraine and am on my second set of the latter. My feeling is that EBC tend to eat disks. Most of my riding is in London and I go through a set of pads every 8K to 9K miles and had to replace my discs @ 18K. Too many traffic lights.
The CLs have good feel and good bite. |
I've just put EBC-HH pads on my curvy and am very happy with the feel and bite they give. Can now do stoppies without needing adrenaline assist!

I agree that the HH's are fantastic, but as said, i found they ate my discs, and as dics are daft mony on bikes, i went for, just as good imo, the Carbonne lorraines A3 pads

I have Carbone Lorraine SBK3 pads in the front of mine and they are lovely. Work well all the time, no worries.
