GRAND MORNING OUT
 

Myself, Wheelnut, Derbybiker and my mate Mark on his Gixxer had a real good run out today, even though the roads were a tad busy and the boys in blue were out in force.

8am start, up to Chesterfield (stopped at Clay Cross before 9 but realised it only opened at 10). Chesterfield to Matlock and breakfast at Matlock Bath, where we watched someone's nice Repsol Rossi rep Honda rammed in the back by his mate, who was busy admiring all the bikes parked up to notice Mr Repsol barking. no injuries but a few broken plastic bits (and the shame of it in front of a big audience of bikers).

Then up through Bakewell to Buxton and across to the Cat & Fiddle for a cool drink before headig back through Ashbourne to mine for a brew and a look at my lads new SV (ringer for mine).

And all in glorious sunshine.

Pity that Shutdown had been on the pop all night, would have been good to have another rider. (if only for a change of colour from all the blue curvies)

daughters birthday on Sunday so loads of preparing to do.

Unfortunately, as per original MFN thread, I'm chokka for the next week. We did have a chat about a longer ride, maybe snake pass.

Thinking about it, I'll probably post a new thread.
