Looking for a cheap road legal can
 

Hi, I'm sick of my dad's bike embarrassing mine, and I havent even ridden it yet! I'm after a cheap road legal can, I've got about £50 to spare. (yes Dad, I'll still be able to pay you.....loan shark.) I'd prefer a circular can with a removable baffle, as I plan on doing a track day or 2 on it, but it MUST be road legal. Another thing, do I seriously have to cut that weld?!?!? Thanks, Matt

Try e-bay...always loads of stuff on there. Unless you are buying a full or 3/4 system, you are going to have to cut that pipe. Unfortunately that is just how these things are on the SV. :? Why not save for a little while longer and get a more expensive pipe? You can get a scorpion from www.cansrus.com for about £175 all-in.

Nah, im not bothered about the name on it. My dad's got a Carbon Can Co. can that he doesnt use, could that be made road legal? I'll get some pics if it helps

I have a CCC on mine but I bought it road legal. You should be able to get a baffle for it and just drill it so that you can get a self-tapping screw in there to quieten it down a bit. :wink:
