SV's new rival ?

So it looks like the mighty SV is going to have a serious rival , what do you think ? .

It is going to have an ABS option for an extra £300 , it has a bellypan exhaust and a side mounted rear shock . It is claimed that it is going to have near 600 IL4 power but should only weigh in at 165 kilos . Kawasaki have gone for a parallel twin because it allows a shorter wheelbase, and minimal width and also is lighter than a normal twin . From i have heard , initial reports are very favourable , and it should be available in the shops by mid July . If it has anything like the character of the 6R/10R it should be cracking bike .

It it's got IL4 character nobody on here will want it, and most will be too scared to try....

Well I like the looks of it and the colour is jam up! =D>

There are a couple of elements of the looks that I like, but I can't help thinking that it should be a muscle bike and not a middleweight.
I might give it a go, but I doubt I'll ever own one cos by the time I come to buy another bike that simply won't be what I'm looking for.

I quite like it, I dont however like the headlight.

I'd certainly give it a try as an alternative to the SV, as for IL4 character bring it on, I had a two stroke 125 before my SV I dont mind riding a bike hard and buzzing it to keep it in the rev range if thats what it takes

Going to have? It already has - read my sig

Nice enough, and different-looking, but will probably be a bit weedy IMHO.

As a fan of the radical in design, someone who see's beauty in what many perceive as ugliness and who enjoys making an individual choice I must say...........thats absolutely horrible

That's one thing you can pretty much guarantee that it WON'T have !!

It's far more likely (given the 'ER' prefix) to turn out to be a commuter type machine with reasonable styling & a bit more performance.

NO competition for an SV
