clutch lever play
 

i have quite a lot of cable play in my clutch lever... when i adjust the barrel on the lever, it just moves the bite point of my clutch 'higher', i want the bite point to stay at the same place, but have no play in the lever.

can i adjust it at the engine end to achieve this?????
