i picked her up

well i turned up 9 am sharpish to pick up the sv 605s.... the fairing was on and teh seat cowel was sat pretty on teh back...

i started here up....... brum brum, she sounded sweet as ......

i was feeling a bit worried, never driven anythign bigger then a 500 i thought this was going to kill me.... all teh sales lads where watchinh, teh mechanic who brought her round and a few others who where about to pick new bikes up too... it was like being at wembly stadium...

okay.. into 1st life saver... clutch out easy on teh revs.......

MAN HOW EASY ARE THESE THINGS TO RIDE............

its so smoothy its unbelieveable....

i took it easy as you guys said (thanks for teh advise) i took it easy on teh engine breaking so not to be thrown over the front......

all i can say is its 24 hours after i picked it up.... and i am still smiling...

IF YOU HAVENT GOT A NEW K4/K5 SV THEN GET ONE NOW.

(sorry for all the typo's...damn pda keyboard)

nothing quite like that feeling. when i pulled away from the shop i got mine from i stalled it with 3 people watching

i think they were pretty used to seeing that though as they didnt even giggle to themselves.

Nice one mate.....had mine a week and just need 100 miles more before i can open her up to 7500rpm. Bike is easy to ride but i have not had any probs at all with the engine breaking. I was not happy with not being able to see what was behind to well but got some mirror extenders and they make a real difference believe me

Have fun

Cool, i cant wait until my first ride! I never actually did anything stupid on my old aprilia rs125, but i did nearly suffer because someone else did! One of my friends had an rs125, and he left his fuel switch off by accident, and as we set off out of his drive his bike bogged down, and i grabbed a handful of back break, locking the front. i released it quick though and almost highsided! managed to keep it upright, had to have a sit down though!

Enjoy and have fun.
