High level exhaust = no rear footpegs ?????

I know this should really be in the exhaust section but i need to know if it needs a mod. Right i have been offered a high level blueflame exhaust from a friend. I regularly ride 2 up as it's the only bike i have and GF can't ride one. My question is:
DO I HAVE TO LOSE FOOTPEGS TO FIT HIGH LEVEL OR NOT :-k
If i do i'll have to buy a standard link pipe instead of high level one as Laura won't be too happy if i tell her she's barred  .

Depending on the high level bracket, you can get longer bolts + spacers so you can keep the pegs.

Depends on the link-pipe TBH... My remus wouldn't allow the pegs to be re-fitted, others do :!: Then again I didn't carry pillions - I had a low-level link pipe if I wanted to do that anyway ;)

hi there, I have a high level Blueflame and the foot pegs stay :) You should have an extension that sits beneath the foot peg and longer bolts to compensate. If it's not there ask Blueflame to send you, they are ace ;)

Hello, i have a high level blue flame which bolted straight on, no mods whatsoever to the footpegs. :D

Cheers folks. Picked it up last night for £80. only been on a bike for 50 miles of which i know. It's the stainless steel dual port high level. There is a bracket to push right peg out an inch or so to make room for link pipe behind it. I think i got myself a bargain. Only thing is i gotta buy new smaller rear indicators as it'll melt the standard ones .
Honest i'm not just thinking of a way to buy new ones

If your replacing the indicators for fear of melting, you might what to have a look at moving the number plate. Take it from a man that knows the hard way

The plates been lifted out of the way with a tail tidy from the scottish site. It should be well outta the way as it's a little smaller than original plate aswell (still a 9" x 7" just without advertising strip at bottom) The can should sit at the side of the indy with about 10mm gap.
