I'd expect them to be around the £200 mark for most places, so that doesn't sound bad.

I paid more than that for pilot sports.

Got the new tyres today, i was given wrong information with the price, i ended up paying £199 fitted to the bike.

What a difference it makes with ROUND tyres on the bike, comopared to the cage tyre i had on the back, and no, i do not just ride in a straight line the last ovner did 2500 miles on the origional tyres, i put another 1000 on them and finally had enough, my TTR 250 was easier to take round the twistys....well nearly!

Just another 90 miles to go until they are scrubbed in!!!

No one likes a show off. LoL

I wish i would have shopped around a bit more now! but i went more for convenience then price i suppose (it was the only garage that was still open at the time i wanted them fitting!)

My tyres seem to be scrubbed in just fine after 20ks of twisty bits...or two or three laps on the track. But i'm a gumby.

I'd be interested in how you like the Powers. I have Sportecs on mine and i love the feel and grip (well, with how i ride grip isn't that much of an issue) but they seem to melt away. The front was dead after 2900km and the rear is looking like it's only got one or two more decent rides in it after 3500km

The pilot powers are finally scrubbed in properly now,
done 300 miles on them 90 of which were on a trackday!

WoW, 90mph with the right peg 3inches off the floor, and not even a hint of a slide!!!

i can brake as hard as i possibly can, and not the slighest hint that the front is going to let go (that was on a hot track - I have not had to brake hard on the cold road yet!!!)

Will i be buying these tyres again....without a doubt YES

I have not used them in the wet (and do not intend to) so i cannot comment on how good they are there.
