It already is in force! Hairdryers are probably louder than legal bike exhausts anyway.

(at least mine is - But I could make it louder by getting a "Not for Hair Use" race nozzle for it ;))

I think MCN are pushing it a bit - some dopey old lord with too much time on his hands (now that he's not allowed to foxhunt) moaninf about noisy bikes ruining his afternoon tea or whatever... just because he's got the hump doesn't mean anyone will listen to him.

if they inforce a ban on loud cans it will damage the motorcycle industry, people wont want new bikes because they cant have a loud can

He's got the hump because there's a green lane area near his home and big 4-stroke enduro's are banging up and down it. But then again it could be he's just a tosser trying to spoil our fun :roll:

Trying to see it from his lordships point of view, it must be pretty gutting for all those townies to tell him he can't hunt any more, then next minute there's a load of townies bombing past "his" land on their townie noise and fire contraptions - confound it! - tell the butler to fetch the blunderbuss!!

id like to take my sv with scorp can up his drive in 2nd at about 6-7k and knock the throttle off! he'd think someone had nicked his shotgun :twisted:
