SV 650S Starting problem........HELP

Hi

I have a SV650s 2001 that wont spark at the plug. The bike is a stolen recovered that had the ignition wires cut and the ignition lock smashed. I have replaced all the broken parts and charged the battery but it wont start. I have tried two ignitors(cdi) and a starter relay from bike breakers. I have a workshop manual and have worked through it and i cant find anything wrong. The bike spins over fine and everything else works ok. The bike has 3000 miles on the clock and i have contacted the previous keeper and the bike does not have an alarm or imobiliser. Can you help PLEASE

Cheers

There should be a orange/white dashed wire that connects to the positive of both the coils that goes to the CDI unit, also the front coil has a black/yellow dashed negitive wire to CDI, rear coil is white negitive to CDI unit.

The orange/white dashed positive wire also goes throught the starter & engine stop switch.

Check that thoes wires are ok.

Taken from Haynes manual.
