Recycling Ultraseal
 

Filled my tyres with Ultraseal before I set off for the sunny beaches in Spain and France but after a few thoudand miles of motorway riding the tyres will now have to be changed...
Can I simply scoop out the old Ultraseal gunk from the tyres and stuff it into the new ones? It's only been in the tyres for 4 months and recycling it would save me about £15.

Personally I wouldn't do it. If you can't afford to buy a new bottle , just stick the new tyres on without and pray you don't have a puncture.

I think it reacts with low pressure air so if you take your tyre off (high pressure inside) and try take it out it will hardened like it would if you had a puncture.

I could be wrong thought. :roll:

Why not buy long lasting tyres instead? You would save lots of money then
I got 20000 miles out of my last 020 rear.

I'm replacing Metzeler Z6's which have lasted me about 10,000 miles. What destroyed them was riding long distances on motorways in France and Spain with temperatures over 35 degrees. Doubt even the 020's would last that long in the heat...

I'm in Australia, 35 degrees is just a normal summer day over here. Will stick to 020's
