SV650S K3

Hope someone can give a bit of guidance

Been offered the above SV in blue 3,300 miles with a Meta alarm/immob by a dealer, they've asked £3399 for it. I haven't seen it yet as they are supposedly getting it in as a trade in........
...I've bought from them before and they seem a decent outfit (well know in mid to north Essex)

Any ideas?

Cheers

For £3399 it must be in mint A1 condition, with a few mod's and the originals too (end can - under tray - indicators etc)

check out the prices on the parkers website for motorbike

ps I know the photo in the parkers is the older model..

Strange, bought used buke guide and that recons on about £3000 for a mint, parkers came up with £3600......
Still going to try to get reduction, if the bikes decent anyroad

Cheers mate

my meta is on a cbr, it goes off when moved - and is also very loud, goes off when someone sits on it too.

its only gone off once with a cover and strong winds - this is gale force wind.

Don't think it makes sense to buy a second hand bike for £3399 if you can
buy a brand new one for £3899:

http://www.fowlers.co.uk/autumn_bargains.htm

There are always good deals on new bikes starting to appear this time of
year. Bought my SVSK3 at Fowlers exactly 2 years ago for £3995.

I am sure there are similar sales in Essex.

The way prices are at the moment, you should be paying circa £3,000 - If you like it, buy it is my advice...

See here

Agree with you all, if the bikes' is A1 and rides well then I'll offer £3000 cash. It'll hurt to pay the full price, but then after my T-bone in May it has hurt to see you lot out there and me crippled on 2 too many wheels

Cheers all, keep it coming

P.S. If anyone needs a good brief in Essex I like mine!! :D  :o

paid £3100 for a 2600 mile k4 a few weeks back, with crash bungs, k&n filter, rear tidy and db screen... though that was private... right now dealers are asking too much for the sv so i gave up on them... with an hpi check at 40 quid and a close look at the bike and owner, there's not much you can go wrong on... a low miles bike should be mint. If you really want to go through a dealer then that's not excessive... seen used k4's going for almost £4000

Also don't forget guy's the k5's will be coming down soon - and I only paid £4.200 for my k5 on 0% finance.
