2004 GSXR 600 / 750 shock ?
as above will this fit the SV with the mod of the battery box.. ?
just a quick yes or no as its on ebay .. and i need to bid on it.. |
If you had a pointy SV then yes, SRAD shocks only for the curvy from what I've read.
|
i have recently put a K4 GSXR600 shock on my K4 SV650. So its a deffinite yes if you have a pointy model.
Went straight on with slight battery box mod and the lower nut and bolt from the GSXR |
ah. just read you have a K2.
i am sure someone else will give you the answer your looking for |
omg .. lol oh ok .. well i might have a GSXR shock for sale soon .. if it dont fit then.. !! chuckles... no scrub that, its gonna fit.. its gonna fit... !!

Thats roughly what i paid for mine.
It looks like the shock will fit but will lower the rear ride height. This can be sorted with different dogbones http://forum.svrider.com/index.php?topic=46669.0 |
ok cheers m8ty that made some pretty good reading ..
http://usera.imagecave.com/RabidGerbil/IMG_1386sm.jpg left to right 05 10r, 02 stock, 98 gsxr, 04 gsxr the 04 gsxr is the one i brought.. to my eyes it looks the same size in height as the 02 stock or even a little bigger . either way its going in !! :D PS what the heck is a dog bone? plz tell me i havent got to prise a bone from a rabid pitbull !! ? |
