moon picture not bikes but nice

was a clear sky and a full moon ( something compelled me to go outside under that full moon  )

http://www.mark.davidson.dsl.pipex.com/pics/moon.jpg

taken with my 70 to 200 zoom with a 2x converter on it so 400mm at 1.6x = 640 mm equivelant, for the techies out there and 100% crop

i used to own a telescope, not a very good one but i'd get views like this of the moon thru it.
I had to sell it in the end cos i spent far too many hours sitting staring one-eye thru it.

I ended up looking like a bloke who wears a monocle....but has lost it somewhere

Great pic tho

no filters just my cheapo 30 quid tripod.

but i am using quality glass and a lot of playing around with exposures on manual.

that shot was 1/250th at iso 100 with f18 IIRC might have been f16 with not a cloud in the sky it was super bright.

i did alter the contrast and brightness a bit when i cropped it in photoshop.
