Just make sure you use a little bit of any detergent - too much and it'll stay in the lining and give you a nice rash after you've worn the helmet for a while. Just a few drops in a sink or half bucket of warm water should be enough.

I used soap last time, it really doesn't matter as long as it's a mild detergent.

Be careful, it can be quite painful if you scrub your helmet too hard
(sorry someone had to  ) |

Warm water with fux flakes or 'Simple' (non-purfumed) shower-gel*... Wet & wash out the inside & leave to dry naurally (i.e. not under or near a source of heat, this can damage the structure of the lid :!:) Straight from my Suomy 'Care of Helmet' DVD 8) (*) Or as advised by Mrs Fud - Cheers Jo  |
so getting inside my lid soaking wet won't damage it??
Cheers for the replys guys :D |
