cheap spark plugs

ive noticed a seller on ebay selling spark plugs very cheap indeed.
he seems to sell alot of them and has good feedback.

question is . . is there such thing as a cheap rubbish spark plug ? or is a spark plug a spark plug ?

would you fit these to your machine ?

I think that's the guy I got my last set of plugs off, £18 for 4 CR8EIX Iridiums, delighted...

They say NGK on them and that's the brand I buy anyway. Seems good to me.

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if theres a real difference between the standard CR8E NGK plugs and the Iridium ones? and more importantly is it worth the extra few quid? :?

Cheers,
RoB

Whether there's any power or performance improvement, i don't know... But they definately seemed to make my bike more eager to start on cold days. I replaced a 1000-mile old set of NGK standards with the iridiums and instead of labouring to start whenever there was frost on the ground, it more or less jumps into life. Those plugs are something like 6000 miles old now and still spot on. They're supposed to be less susceptible to fouling too, though you have to try pretty hard to foul an SV plug...

I'd probably buy them again, just becaues my creaky charging system needs every bit of help it can get to start on a cold morning ;)
