Double Bubble Screen... and Hi Vis Jacket
Hi guys!!!
Just got a couple of questions. Ive got a K5 SVS. I'm after a double bubble screen as I'm starting to commute to London from Kent. Ive been told the double bubble is the best way to stop my head getting battered by the wind. Which one would you recommend :?: I would prefer to stick with an official Suzuki Double Bubble... unless the aftermarkets are better. It will be a clear one so I can actually use it on track days too!! Also, I'm looking to get a High Vis Jacket that I can put over my bike jacket. The one I'm after is an overcoat with sleeves, without any lining, but I don't know where to look. Ive found one that has got Velcro front, but I've been told there crap at 50mph plus. :!: Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D dmracing |

I used to work for a company who sold these. It was called Parker Merchanting and the item you are looking for is called a SEP3.
The web address is here so you can look up the nearest branch to you. |
ICU-UCME
I bought mine at the Herts and Beds Advanced Motorcyclist club meet at a presentaion by the owner. He must have sold 20 jackets. I wouldn't be without my blouson as it's waterproof and gives added warmth. The only problem is they get really dirty and the daytime flurescence of the yellow fades after about 15 washes. So I soak mine in some delicate wash powder and gently scub it with a soft brush and drip dry inside out on a hanger. Comes up nice. It also saves cleaning your normal jacket. |
is it true that when you were hi-vis jackets car drivers move over for filtering and slow down when you appear behind them (thinking you're the police)??!

Unless of course he rides with a white helmet and a Pan European in police colours... |

Never seen a police rider filter quite like that though - it may be just that people actually saw me in the first place! While it's good to be seen, a lot of times it's easier if people don't pull over especially for you (definitely when they're trying to block you  ). |
