puddy tat

well, feeling a bit low at the moment. our lovely eight year old cat called mystic has been missing for about two weeks now and i'm beginning to think something may have happened to her.

the good lady wife is distraught and the kids walk around upset asking if she has come home yet. i explain a cat is just one of those independent animals that will always do there own thing but i am sure she is ok (hopefully).

I've never been into cats that much but its really upsetting when you see how much it affects the family. she was/is loved to bits but we'll see what turns up.

me and the wife were out putting leaflets around our estate and a few folk have phoned but each time its not her.

kids have gone out with thunderdragon so just getting it off my chest. :(

I hope that you have some good news and she turns up soon

my cat vanished for weeks once. seriously. to a pont where we all thought the worst and then one day there he was in the kitchen. (had never got round to getting rid of the catflap) Sared the bejayzuz outta me.

Hope yours is ok.

Or you could try the old trick of getting another one, tahst identical of course, and hoping the kids wont notice, Like in all the best films

Shame and upsetting. I'm ridiculously sentimental when it comes to pets so know what you mean. Fingers crossed.

We have 4 of the feline fiends, and I'd be heartbroken if anything happened to one of them.

One of mine has gone wandering off before and then returned none the worse after a couple of weeks, so fingers crossed yours will do the same.

spidey, a lot of people have said there cats have done this. hope were lucky. i think/hope deep down she is alright but its the not knowing that hurts, especially when you see your kids cry. that one always gets me. big softie i know but you dont know till it happens.

Is the cat chipped? Have you contacted local vets - strays are sometimes handed in...worth a try...stick an advert in the local rag - you'd be surprised who reads the smalls.

hi stingo, yeah mate honestly done everything we could think of. i've got half the council keeping an eye out. she's not chipped-never thought of it to be honest.
spidey :) couldn't get another one like you said, not the same but i know what you mean.
lissa, i'm sure she will.....thanks.

I dont have kids so i can only imagine how hard that mst be. For reasons i wont bore you with my nephew thinks the kitten that i was supposed to look after for him till he was old enough to take it is in Mexico.

Me and mrs spidey have even had to send the occasional birthday card or xmas card from the kitty to him. Cos theres nothing wrong with the kitty, it just lives in Mexicofor reasons ive never been able to explain to him.

i told mrs spidey at the time it was a rubbish excuse to use for its dissapearance, but would she listen?
