help needed asap!

got on my SV today, started it up - no problems everything as normal

Rode down to town ( about 3 miles ) parked it up, ran in the bank, came back and now when I press the ignition button it makes no sound at all - theres nothing.

All the lights work so I dont think its the battery, the starter motor has shown no problems recently and has worked fine so im slightly baffled what it could be?

I know its not the sidestand because even if its down or the connection has shorted the bike still turns over just doesnt start.

So the problem is when I hit the ignition there is nothing, not even a hint of the bike turning over and its an 04 pointy.

Need advise quick as my bike is stuck in chaville central highstreet, right outside where the clubs kick out tonight and its at the bottom of a hill so i cant bump it either

Thanks!

Tried the emergency cut off switch?

Kill switch ?

Does the bike buss when you turn it on.

Make sure the Kill switch os OFF.

Turn the bike on and put the sidestand up, flick the Kill switch to OFF, then bike should start buzzing for a few seconds.

If you have an alarm its sometimes wired into the fuel pump and gives a error code in the display when the bike is turned on.

Put in in gear - Sit on it and rock it back and forth - starters can sometimes get stuck

Check the clutch cutout switch - locate it underneath the clutch lever (wires going into a small connector), pull it apart & give it a clean (emery board or fingernail if nothing else)

If it doesn't buzz when you turn the ignition switch - any alarms or immobilisers

Check the relay (think that's what it;s called) under the seat next to the fuses had mine come out after a bolt come off the road and through the undertray.
