Don't belive that vid for one second...
the speed he goes under that bridge is far too slow, as so the on coming traffic... if your doing 190-210 MPH It's a blurrrrrrr.. seems more like 110 ish...

hall13uk 20-03-06 12:40 AM

i was more interrested in the bit where he errrr says hello to the local cops

Id be inclined to agree. That video speed is made up.

299Hm/h is 186mph... he was doing alledgedly 236km/h.

Ive done 180 on a busa down the M1 before and JESUS CHRIST! You feel like you have to brake for the bends in the motorway.

At those speeds all lines on the road blend into a solid stream of line. You cant destinguish anything, bridges - by the time you've seen them, you've passed under them and they are a dot in the mirror.

180mph is DAMNED quick.

Lot of us on here would never know as we are not thick enough to do those speeds on the M1 ....... :D

Has anyone actually considered the fact that the speedo is calibrated in Km per hour and not mph? Even so a "friend" that recently had a little blat at 225kmh confirms that that bike is not doing the kind of speed shown on the gauge.

The whole video is so obviously contrived that it is an insult to our intelligence. The guys in the cop car were also part of the scam.
