stupid question
Can someone please enlighten me as to why sports bikes with 2 headlights, only ever seem to have one on?
|
Its a european thing.
|
Supposedly 2 headlights close together is easy to mstake as a car, far away. Though it'd have to be a car with massive, bright headlights.

Manufacturers tend to do this to bikes so they can have just the one wiring setup for both european and british markets, probably saves a few bob on wire as well. Most modern bike have this, but if I've paid for both headlights I'm going to use them (melt their eyeballs). |
My Ducati had one headlight for dipped and one for full beam. I had some helpful people point out that one of the lights wasn't on. I had to explain that it was for full beam.
The Speed Triple always has both on, which I prefer. |

Anyway, and jumping on the opportunity, can you guys tell me if british SVS's also have assymetrical lenses? :? PS: I'm curious about what they'll do with the Kwak ZX-14's 6 headlights on that matter  |
