Office of my own?
 

Well, i posted a few weeks ago that i was getting an office of my own with work. The time has come, ive just got my new desk set out as i want it.. and suddenly work seems to be a very lonely place.

Whilst my colleagues drove me mad downstairs in the sales office, its so removed up here. Im next door to the IT Manager, the floor below me has the Group CFO, the CFO, Office Manager and CEO situation in it.

God its lonely up here.

Yeah, but at least noone is looking over your shoulder whilst you spend all your time here! :wink:

Just keep summoning the others to meetings. Sorted.

Hehe That is an option i suppose.

One great thing about my office is the view! Ill get some photos of it for you shortly when i get properly set in.

Ive got a view across roof tops and church yards.. in the sunshine it truely is a fantastic view. The office catches the sun from 9am till about 3.45pm, both windows open fully outwards (yipee.. fresh air!)

Not only that, but we have an upstairs fire escape which takes you onto a roof... Mid Summer sunbathing anyone? :lol: Take my laptop and mobile out there.. work from the roof! :P

The negative is that its 60 steps down to the toilet and canteen, followed by another 60 back up again.. So im gonna get my own kettle up here so i can make some coffee throughout the day. 8) Gonna get some bike posters on the walls... :idea:

I guess we'll be seeing you even more on the org then!!

and taps for water maybe? and a fridge for milk...

...and a commode too by the sound of it. Or nip out and pee over the street :lol:
