Zorst related questions.

I have a new Fuel exhaust on the bike :) and the baffle fell out  which sounds ace :D aside from the popping on the over run (I think it is called) that sounds like mini backfires, I have been told this is normal so is there anyway to stop it? I don't like it.

Also now that I have such a shiny can with link pipe it has show quite how bad the rest of my pipe work is . Could anyone give me an idiot’s guide on the best way to re shine the pipe work? As I know there is more to it than applying a load of polish and I was told once but I cannie find the thread, I remember talk of wet and dry etc.

Re the popping, get you fueling remaped, costs about £15 from a suzuki dealers, sorts it out, and no need to spend loads of money.

For the pipe work Autosol + elbow grease = Shiney!

Make sure there's no leaks, mine backfired a bit when first fitted until I sealed it on

Autosol if you really want to spend the rest of your life getting it like new.

Wet and dry and THEN autosol (or preferably something that isn't a finishing polish like autosol is) is the way to do it. :)

I put a load of exaust selant between the link pipe and the end can and the original pipework maybe it needed more.

Also what polish isn't a finishing polish? (Sorry for the dumb questions I just have no idea)

Nope. The reason you didnt notice it with standard pipes is cos you couldnt hear it. And sealant wont help, because the PAIR system will let air into the pipe anyway.

the poping on the over run is the best bit!
i use a rag with autosol dipped in a little silver sand to give the downpipe a polish, the sand just help to cut the tarnish off the pipe.

Any idea how to make a bike pop on request with an aftermarket can on?
