Exhaust... Help Required

Hi,

I need advice/help!

The bike is a naked curvey, I am going to fit a new back section (OE Suzuki one), the only problem I look to have is the with the rear cylinder.

I will be leaving the little rear cylinder link pipe in place. I had a look last night, all I need to do is loosen the clamp that connects to the rear link pipe slide exhaust off put new one on an tighten. (easier said than done...)

Problem is that there is not a lot of room directly behind the engine so I dont think its possible to get enough purchase to undo and then tighten the clamp.

Has anyone managed to carry out this job without having to remove bits of the bike????

If not whats invloved in doing this???

Any advice would be much appreciated only I really dont want to have to pay a garage to do it.

Regards

Rob

Its me!

Ok what you do mate, is take off the little black plastic thingy(Under the seat) on the left of the bike(as you sit on it). This way you can get an extention bar in there with a 6mm hex bit and undo the clamp.

Long reach allen key is very helpful or one on a socket. It can be done with a standard allen key but you need some innovation and dislocated wrists.
