Suzuki OEM Hugger....HELP

Would like some advice folks,

When I bought my Sv650K4 in Aug 04 the dealer fitted a genuine hugger. To be honest it has always been i tight fit and the holes never lines up perfect. As time has gone on it has developed cracks and skuff marks from the tool box. I have done research and it looks as though they have fitted a K3 part number hugger to a K4 machine. If I go back to the dealer now do I still ahve rights as they clearly fitted the wrong part number and any ideas as to what they should do?

Many thanks

BTG

After a year a a half i doubt they will do anything and they can always say you put another one on yourself. Give it a try if you want but do not hold your breath....unless you know the dealer pretty well of course!

I had the same problem with a Pyramid hugger - the toolbox eventually began to wear a hole in the hugger. As it took some time to develop, I didn't notice it for quite a while, so it was too late to take it back. Sounds like you've got the same problem
