130MPH+ on a public road!!!

so I was out on my bike this morning when I felt the urge to open her up a bit!
I went charging into fast corners without scrubbing off a lot of speed, I throttled on coming out of the corners and at one point i looked at the speedo to see me doing over 130MPH!

And gues what happened?!?!?!?!

Nothing at all!

No childern hurt,

no cops pulled me over,

no trees hit,

no crashing,

no running wide onto the wrong side of the road,

and no bike sliding away from where it was intended!!!

Just thought i'd post that

Sounds like you've got a faulty speedometer, if it's reading 130mph when you're actually riding within the proscribed speed limits.

it's your funeral mate, i'm sure every time people open the bikes up they think that none of the above will happen, it's a shame that some of those people are dead or paralysed and probably wish they hadn't.

:? i'm sure when a bike is used for its speed and power the rider is aware of the dangers.

no they aren't, or they wouldn't do it - they think they know, and that is the problem
