Bored on Saturday night - suggestions.

Right folks.. need some advise before i go insane and start self harming.

House is tidy, only my room to do, but that can wait till tomorrow.

All my mates are busy.. few have gone out in leeds, others are out on their bikes and the only one whos spare is packing his kit as he's movin into mine next friday.

Ive done everythin that needs to be done, and im seriously bored now. Ive actually been messin around on the net since 12 noon today. Left the chair only to get cups of tea and coffee. Nowt Else.

Its 8.15pm. Nighte is still young, and im loosing the will to live.

Any one got any suggestions as to how i can kill some time and make me tired so i sleep tonight?

True... my folks (at least i think they are  ) are in Sorento at the moment. Flew out yesterday for 10 days so i cant even go and be bored at their house. :-(

TBH Peter when i read your explanation of your situation i was kinda shocked. Dunno what advise to give... cos its just academic really.

Just try not to ponder too much on it and keep ya chin up.. you still got a great life in Spain. Lovely wife, fantastic kid etc. Just put your effort into your kid... give him the parents you never had??? :?

Listen to some Smiths songs.

Laugh at the irony of them.

Fiercley concentrate how much the songs are funny and not un-nervingly near to the truth.

Have some drinks. Watch some late night Channel 4.

I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour
But heaven knows I'm miserable now

I was looking for a job, and then I found a job
And heaven knows I'm miserable now

In my life
Why do I give valuable time
To people who don't care if I live or die ?

Two lovers entwined pass me by
And heaven knows I'm miserable now

I was looking for a job, and then I found a job
And heaven knows I'm miserable now

In my life
Oh, why do I give valuable time
To people who don't care if I live or die ?

What she asked of me at the end of the day
Caligula would have blushed

"You've been in the house too long" she said
And I (naturally) fled

GYKD - best advice I can give you is to move out of York! Lived there myself for three years and I reckon anyone would get bored there!!
