Best place to sell a bike
 

Looking to sell my bike. Was a bit shocked to find that magazines expect you to pay for a ad to sell your bike :o

I always thought that selling was free and that money was made off the people who buy the mags. Looks like they manage to have their cake and eat it!

Anyway, before I part with cash I wanted to know if anyone can make a recommendation?

I live in London so selling in Loot is an option aswell as MCN.

Avoiding eBay as I want potential buyers to check the bike out before making offers and my mates experience of eBay suggests it's filled wih idiots.

Hidden gem is 125 forums and similar. People are always passing their tests then looking for a bigger bike :)

Err without wishing to sound completely obvious...would the for sale section on this section not be worth a try? I would also slap it on as many bike forums as possible. They are more likely to be visited by the more serious buyer? 8)
